Half Marathon and Marathon Race Day Parking is available at the Mable House Arts Center & Amphitheater and Floyd Middle School
Do not park at the Post Office or Library – CARS WILL BE TOWED!
ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AT Bike Depot / Finish Line – CARS WILL BE TOWED!
Spectators may take the bus down to the finish line after the race start with the fun run participants.
Please park at Floyd Middle school, which is just before Kroger on the left. We will not be responsible for vehicles parked at Kroger or Publix and vehicles parked in noted “No Parking” areas may be towed!
The Publix shopping center has vacant businesses – so cars parked away from businesses are okay.
Directions:
1. Take I-285 W on the top end perimeter, exit on Atlanta Road.2. Turn northwest (heading outside the perimeter).
3. Go two stoplights & turn left onto the four lane Cumberland Parkway, which turns into the East-West Connector.
4. Drive ~6 miles and turn left onto Floyd Rd.
5. Parking is available at Floyd Middle School on the left ~2 miles down Floyd Rd.
The Mable House is .8 miles past the parking area on the left. Drive time from I-285/Atlanta Rd is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Important Notes:
Race number pick-up for Marathon and Half Marathon is 3:30pm to 6:30pm the day before the race, Friday, at the Mable House Arts Center. Pick-up starts at 5:30am on race day at the race start location, which is also the Mable House Arts Center.
Races happen rain or shine – no refunds.
Early t-shirt pick-up will not be allowed.

The Half Marathon ends at the Floyd Road Silver Comet trail head at the Silver Comet Depot. Shuttles run from both locations until all participants are returned to the race start location or the Floyd Middle School Parking Area

Race Number Pick-up begins at 6:00am. Race Day.
Runners & Walkers are welcome in both of our races.
Official 10k Race Day Parking is available at Floyd Middle School
Floyd Middle School is just before Kroger on the left.
Do Not Park in the Kroger Parking lot!!
We will not be responsible for vehicles parked at Kroger or Publix & vehicles may be towed! There are vacant businesses y in the Publix shopping center – so cars away from businesses in that lot will probably be O.K.

The 10k ends at the Mavelle Road Trail Head. No Gear Check unless really unfavorable weather. Shuttles run from race end location until all participants are returned to the race start location or the Floyd Middle School Parking Area.
