–          The supplies for Marathon Aid Stations are completely separate from the water stop supplies on the Half Marathon Course

–          We are asking the WATER STATION TEAM LEADERS TO PLAN ACCORDINGLY – SEE THE DETAILS FOR THE MARATHON STATIONS LOCATED AT YOUR WATER STOP – HAVE AT LEAST TWO & BETTER 4 VOLUNTEERS SLEEP IN & COME LATER WHO CAN STAY UNTIL END & ARE GREAT CHEERLEADERS!

–          THESE VOLUNTEERS MUST STAY UNTIL END, CLEAN UP THE MARATHON AID STATION & RETURN THE SUPPLIES.  They will be responsible for packing up these supplies, the trash, the crates of water & the tub – absolutely everything & return it to the finish line or my home. – these volunteers should bring chairs, music & most definitely cell phones, some snacks & any preferred drinks – – remember this is only for about 140 runners – who will be very spread out!  – there won’t be much clean up involved & it will be a very rewarding support role to those tackling the 26.2 challenge – take pics – note numbers – have a good time !  hopefully more of your volunteers will be willing to bring chairs & enjoy cheering for the marathoners!!!  THE STOPS ON HALF COURSE HEADED BACK ARE THE TOUGHEST MILES OF THEIR DAY– PLEASE SUPPORT THEM !!!
