Race Day Registration will be available for $45 (cash or check), beginning at 6a.
Packet Pickup: Will begin at 6am on Race Day at the Kroger (4875 Floyd Rd SW, Mableton, GA 30126). Please bring a copy of your ID to pickup your number. You may not pick up someone else’s number. Numbers may not be transferred to non-registered participants on race day.
Parking: Ample parking available in the Floyd Middle School Lot – do not park in front of the school or in the gym lots. Participants may also park away from the store front in the Kroger parking lot. Do not park at the Post Office, Library, Silver Comet Bike Depot, or any businesses other than the ones listed above. You WILL be towed.
Things Not Allowed: Strollers, pets, and headphones/earbuds are not allowed on the race course. Headphones/earbuds use is a safety concern, against USATF Rules & Regulations, and will not be tolerated. The trail is not closed for this race, so please be aware of cyclists, pedestrians, and other athletes on the trail!
Start Line: The 10k begins at Kroger: 4875 Floyd Rd SW, Mableton, GA 30126. The race begins at 8:00am. Dj will announce line up. Pace signs will be held up, however, pacer groups are not set up for the race.
Timing: Runners will be given a timing chip with their number on race day. You will cross a start mat and a finish line mat that will record the time. Gun time and chip time may differ slightly.
T-Shirts/Medals: Medals will be given to Age Group and Masters (1st, 2nd, 3rd) place winners. T-shirts will be at finish line set up, available to pickup based on race number size. Shirts are available based on what is on the table at the time of pickup.

Finish Line/Post-Race Set Up: Sponsors and vendors will be set up at the finish line, in the parking lot of the Kroger. T-shirts and awards will be given out at the finish area.
Shuttles: Shuttles will run from the finish to start line once runners have finished. The shuttle will only leave when FULL. Do not ask the bus drivers to leave early.
Awards: Announced once enough results are gathered. Will be announced by Dj. Overall, Masters, and Age Group Winners receive medals.
Spectators: Spectators may park at the Kroger or Floyd Middle School. A shuttle will be available to the finish line and back after the race.
Not Able to Run: Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are unable to attend the race. Refunds will not be given.
Volunteers: If you are interested in volunteering Race Day, please email email@example.com. Jobs include: water stop setup/breakdown, truck loading/unloading, packet pickup, t-shirt help, start and finish line setup/breakdown, bus guidance.

Donations: Silver Comet Races and Get Fit Atlanta collect gently used running clothes, shoes, and accessories, to support the local high school athletic programs. A donation bin will be set up before the race. Thank you! Old race shirts will be available for $5 each at the finish line also!
